World champions Switzerland marched on to their third win - a comfortable six-end 14-3 defeat of hosts Estonia - in Sunday evening's third session of men's round-robin play at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, Estonia.

The Swiss opened with four points in the first end and then stole three points in the second end to effectively end the game as a competition, and eventually, when Estonia skip Robert-Kent Pall had the consolation of hitting and staying to score two points in the sixth end, the game was over.

Russia recorded their second win of the competition, beating Norway by 6-5, a result that leaves Norway win-less so far. Norway made the better start, going 2-0 up after four ends but a straightforward draw by Russian skip Artur Ali with his last stone of the tenth end gave his team the two points needed for their win.

Canada returned to winning ways with a 6-4 win over USA. They set themselves up for this win with a score of four in the opening end, thanks to a precision double take-out through a narrow port by skip Braden Calvert.

After his win, Calvert said, "on both sides of the ice that wasn’t a very well played game. It’s just one of those you have to kind of grind away and do what you can out there."

A 5-4 victory over Korea gave Scotland their second win so far. Korea had last stone in the first end and used it to score one point.

The Scots then blanked the second end but scored two points in the third when skip Bruce Mouat promoted one of his own front guards to take out a Korean counting stone and stay at the back of the house.

In a tight game, the teams were level in the fifth and ninth ends and Scotland scored one point in the tenth end for their win.

Afterwards, Scottish skip Mouat said, "we always expected a tight game there and we're glad to come out with a victory after our loss this morning."

The fifth game of the session between Italy and Sweden went to an extra end and Italy recorded their first win of the week, by 8-7.

The Italians started well and led by 3-1 after three ends, but a series of three single steals brought Sweden right back into the game before Italy eventually emerged as victors.
